BURGER JOINT

A 50's retro burger made with local, naturally fed Niman Ranch beef. Also serving free range chicken, fresh cut fires and veggie burgers and some of the best Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry shakes around. There is a continuous commitment to quality that will keep you coming back.

Since first opening at the Mission location in 1994, Burger Joint has received numerous accolades from the press and is consistently rated one of the top burgers in the San Francisco Bay Area.

YELP FAVE: "So how'd they do? Props for the thick-n-fresh fries and equally thick-n-fresh strawberry shake, and they've obviously done their homework on how to craft a juicy turkey patty. Burger itself is compact and doesn't fall apart (though the aforementioned juice does run everywhere). Still, I've gotten over the retro thing (or rather, I've gotten so into the retro thing that diners are like playing in the kiddie pool--now steampunk burgers, those would be awesome), so Burgermeister and Big Mouth are more up my alley. Would have really liked to see how the Saturday night hipster crowd dealt with the vibe (so ironic it's not? so unironic it is?), but as I was here for Monday lunch, no such luck." ---Wes M. 4/15/2009
