It's always a strengthening experience when one engages in "contempt prior to investigation", investigates, then realizes that he acted like a world-class schmuck. If learned from, the experience can provide valuable insight into said schmuck's character defects.

Such was my experience at the Pork Store. Let me say this:

The food is excellent, and despite what others have written, the service was excellent as well.

YELP REPENTENCE: "I recently wrote a damaging review, because I thought my CC had been fraudulently charged. It turns out that the waitress accidentally swiped my card twice. An easy mistake when there are 2 gold Wells Fargo cards in play. The manager of this cafe is soft-spoken and disarming, a valued quality in a person and in a restaurant manager. I left the restaurant after resolving the mistake feeling very much willing to come back time and time again. Great food, good service, and I extend a heartfelt and humble apology to the young, beautiful dark-haired waitress that I was so quick to slam/condemn earlier this week. :-) " Dan B. 9/11/2009
