I finally made it to Range - it had been on my restaurants I have to try, for a long time.
The food was great and was only surpassed by the excellent service I received at the bar. I loved the passion and knowledge both mixologist exuded, without being overbearing.
The Sungold Zinger was one of the best modern cocktails I have had and I can't wait to recreate it.
What made the food outstanding, besides the freshness of the produce used - were the combination of textures in each of the dishes. I have to say that my favorite was the Goat Cheese and Sorrel stuffed pasta with Chive and lime sauce. Absolutely perfect in texture & flavor.
Also memorable was the dessert, a grilled summer peach served with raspberries and peach leaf sorbet.
