"good food, honestly prepared.....Easy on the wallet and You'll get full just looking at the dishes. They probably have 100 items on the menu. ....Expect a line, but it worth the wait..... For me personally the atmosphere is an almost eerie throwback to cheaper days, so much that my SF snobbery is telling me (perhaps unfairly) to dock a star...This place fills you up for your buck!... The atmosphere is that of a cozy neighborhood diner

highly recommend the pork chops and mash potatoes....Eggplant Lasagna- Mounds of cheese and purp-squash, layers for days. Two dollar slices of pie/cake.....Try order either the lamb shank or short ribs. I will be impressed if you could eat both at one sitting!...A NY steak for arount 18 bucks cooked perfectly.
