Excellent, robust German food is served here by a friendly wait staff who will make you feel at home. The cozy space and eclectic, mismatched, and casual decor, accentuated by German posters, give the place an authentic vibe..... out of the way east german restaurant. ....While the decor looks old and shabby it's authentic, which goes a long way....Can be crowded.

Amazingly hearty and filly stews and schnitzel. And an awesome German beer list too!...The schnitzel with the mashed potatoes is awesome. potato pancakes are also very good.... For me, though, it's all about the Sauerbraten and Rot Kohl. Just like before the Wall fell.... If you like traditional German or Jewish foods, you will probably love this place
