"Strong cheap drinks, great jukebox, free popcorn and good friends....the place was dim, the music good, the queers loudmouthed and smartassed (just the way i like em!). ...great hipster bar crawl of 2009. We went to Uptown. We went to the Make Out Room. We went to the Attic. We went to Pops. Only when we went to the Phone Booth did the real fun start....The bartender was friendly and fast, which serves as a nice contrast to, for example, The Dovre Club, and we were able to chill with some booze in a companionable atmosphere. TPB is the place to go if you just want to kick back with a drink, talk with your friends, and feel welcome."
