This place has great and cheap food! Added bonus - buy your beer at the liquor store across the street and bring it in!....Among the top 5 best values in SF. ....An oasis of tasty, tasty cheap eats on the drunkiest block in the Mission!!!! Great no frills...no decor to speak of and minimal service....Authentic Punjabi farmer food. Tasty meat! Not so great for vegetarians.

Chicken tikka masala and bengan bharta pakwan-style are both superior.... love the chicken tikki masaala, the sabzi, and a lentil soup that I can never remember the name of. Excellent naan.... Best kheer (desert) and nans among the trio: Chotney, Pakwan and Shalimar.
